How will I know if the product I’m ordering is in stock?
Each of our in-stock products are highlighted with the QUICK SHIP label. You’ll find each product’s availability status, whether in-stock or special order only, notated on the product page.

Are fabric swatches for sofas and chairs available?
You are welcome to order up to 5 swatches online at no charge. Please use our contact form to let us know which swatch you'd like.
Note: Swatch colors may differ from those you see on your monitor.
What’s your return and exchange policy?
At Valitalia, we take pride in the exceptional quality and craftsmanship of our furniture. Our attention to detail in design, material and construction is unyielding. And so is our commitment to customer satisfaction.
All exchanges and cancellations are subject to Valitalia's approval. Merchandise purchased from Valitalia may only be returned for credit or exchange upon meeting certain criteria. Please note that pre-approved returns will only apply to merchandise accompanied by original sales receipt and in original condition and packaging. Returns are subject to a 35% restocking fee. Subject to applicable local regulations, claims received after 14 calendar days of delivery cannot be processed.
Non-stock items, lay-away orders and special orders are not returnable or cancellable. Refunds are not issued except in the case of defective merchandise we are unable to replace. Return freight is the responsibility of the customer.
Actual cost of shipping replacement item to you will not be credited or refunded and is subject to additional charge. Approved credit is valid for one year from date of issue. Thereafter, unused credit is forfeited after one year, subject to local regulations.
Special orders begin production immediately upon order and are built to your specifications. They cannot be cancelled, changed, returned or refunded at any time.
These items are considered special order items and are non-cancellable, non-returnable and non-refundable.
Orders canceled after 24 hours are subject to a 35% cancellation fee in addition to any shipping charges incurred as may apply.
Final Sale & Clearance Items
Clearance items or specified sale items are considered final-sale items and cannot be returned.
Can I make changes to my order?

Will I have to pay sales tax on my order?
We are required to collect sales tax according to your state's specific sales tax laws. These states require tax on delivery service: FL and NJ.
Will you contact me if my item is out of stock or gets delayed?
If the availability of your order changes by seven days or more, we will contact you with an update.
Will you contact me if changes are made to my order?
We will contact you with an update, if availability of your product(s) is changed by seven days or more.
Do you collect credit card surcharges or check out fees when paying with my credit card?
No. We don’t collect a surcharge or check out fee on any credit card transactions.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards as well as PayPal.

I already own a box spring, can I use it with a Valitalia mattress?
Because our mattresses are created specifically for superior comfort and support, a box spring is not required. Sans a box spring, you’ll find our beds have a much cleaner profile and you’ll get a better night’s sleep. While all of our mattresses are made to be used without box springs, we do carry a selection of headboards if you own a mattress and box spring you would like to use.
I love your products, but I would like a different size. Do you offer custom options?

Do you have a product and customer satisfaction guarantee?
We back the quality and performance of all our products 100%. If your furniture arrives damaged due to shipping or you aren't completely happy with it for any reason, we will do our best to make it right to your satisfaction.
What are my delivery options?
We ship our products to all the contiguous 48 states. Most orders arrive via UPS in 3-9 business days. Stocked furniture will be delivered in 1-2 weeks in most metropolitan areas. Special orders will arrive in 6-9 weeks in most metropolitan areas. Orders are shipped Monday-Friday; weekend and holiday deliveries are excluded.
At Valitalia we offer 3 forms of delivery, the choice is up to you.
- Curbside - Delivery to your front door
- Inside - In-home delivery placed in your room of choice
- White Glove - In-home delivery and placed in your room of choice plus the option of set-up and assembly*
*Please note: At the moment we can only offer assembly in the NY, NJ, PA, CT, RI, and MA metro areas
What is the process and lead time for special orders?
Before ordering, you’ll find the lead times for special orders notated on each product page, once in production, you can track your special order with estimated delivery date via your Valalia account. Once your purchase is complete, your special order product is immediately placed in production in Italy and built to your specifications. Special order cannot be changed, cancelled, returned or refunded at any time.

Do you offer a discounts to designers and other trade professionals?
Valitalia offers a special discount program to design professionals. If you are an interior decorator, designer or architect, participate in our designer sales program and receive a dedicated discount on all full-price products. What is a Wish List?
Once you’ve created a Valitalia account, you’ll be able to save all of your favorite products via the Wish List feature for future reference or purchase. Also, you can share your Wish List via email with family and friends.
